How to Measure For a Quick Muzzle® Follow these easy steps
SIZING: The muzzle should fit snugly around the snout for the most reliable bite control. Because of the great size variety within a breed, the END OF SNOUT circumference is the most accurate measurement to find a comfortable, yet secure fit. For additional sizing accuracy, measure the SNOUT LENGTH from just below the eyes to the end of the snout. PLEASE NOTE: Cozy-Style Muzzles will be up to 1/2" longer in the muzzle length.
IMPORTANT! SAFE, RESPONSIBLE MUZZLE USE: Please remember, the Muzzle® is a temporary restraint designed to reduce the risk of bites, but as with any restraint, it isn't foolproof. A muzzle is to be used with another method of restraint, with the animal handler holding the ultimate responsibility for safe control. SUPERVISED, SHORT-TERM USE: With a proper, snug fit, the animal's ability to pant is reduced, which could compromise the animal's natural cooling system. Under certain conditions, this could be a life-threatening situation.DO NOT LEAVE PET UNATTENDED WHILE IN USE.
TO APPLY: Working from behind the dog's head—holding the straps, slip the muzzle over the snout and snap the buckle behind the head under the ears. Adjust to fit. TO RELEASE, simply release buckle and remove.
